My husband, Derrell & I reside in Ackerly, a small farm community in Texas. My husband is a cotton farmer, I have just retired from the Cotton Division of USDA and have been raising and breeding the little “cotton” dogs now since 1995. So we are “cotton” all the way!
Our first Coton de Tulears are now retired. Our Cotons now, are mostly ones that we have bred. The foundation of my line rests mostly in Roxane du Domaine de la Rouviere. We have had many beautiful males and females from her bloodline. She was bred by Frederique Haberbusch. Her sire was the famous Irving Jazz and her mother was Hines. She is sister to the 1998 World Champion Manon du Domaine de LaRouviere.
We have strived, from the beginning to breed a better Coton de Tulear, using the FCI standard as our guide. We highly advocate OFA health testing. You may asses our health testing patterns at this site.. Our goal is health, temperament, and beauty. Our breeding program is reflected in the many dogs that we have championed through the years.
We are a Code of Ethics Breeder for the North American Coton Association (NACA). We have recently become associated with the Breeders of Excellence.
After 20 years of breeding, we can truthfully say, this has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Never a dull moment when you are showing and raising dogs.
