Say No to the AKC

Watch our site. Jane Arrington, who has been the only Coton Rescue Coordinator since in the 90's is writing an article about why we don't want to see our dogs in the AKC. She is the head of UCARE which is the Coton's rescue organization. No one has done more or worked harder for the Coton than Jane. She has walked the walk with the Coton de Tulear, so we know she can talk the talk.

Abby Comes back for a visit

SanDee's Absolutely Impeckable, aka "Abby" has come back home for a visit from her home in Ohio. She will soon meet Darjeeling for a rendevous. We are very excited about this mating. Everything should come together in these puppies.

Buttons & Darjeeling

This is a happy week at SanDee's Cotons. Angel Cloud's Buttons & Bows and Cartoonland's Darjeeling have been to the vet for their health checks. Both dogs have cleared their patella exam and their cardiac exam. Cerfs have also been cleared. We are very excited about these 2 young dogs being incorporated into our breeding program.

Puppies are on their way!

It has been confirmed. Abby & Ninja and Cassie & Ninja are expecting puppies. Puppies should be born towards the end of May. Both of these litters should be exceptional litters! These are Grand Champion sired as well as both mothers are Grand Champions. Should be beautiful pets for the lucky new owners.

Cartoonland's Darjeeling & SanDee's Diva Diamond

Cartoonland's Darjeeling has finished his Grand Champion title. He will be one year old in a month. SanDee's Diva Diamond has finished her championship at 7 1/2 months. Way to go kids.

UKC Texas Bluebonnet Show

Puppies

Puppies have arrived at SanDee's. Taz (SanDee's Aint She Something) has delivered 2 boys and 1 girl. Dolly (SanDee's Best of Everything) has delivered a little girl. Pictures will be coming soon. These puppies will be ready to go in April. The lucky sire of both litters is SanDee's Boot Scootin' Boogie.

Starting the Year Off Right

The Texas UKC Classic will be held in Hutto January 16-18, 2009. This is always an exciting show with large entries and great competition. We always look forward to this show. Hope to see everyone there.

Championships

This past weekend, at the UKC American Eskimo Club of Oklahoma, Cassie earned her Grand Championship at 1 1/2 years old. Abby was not to be outdone. She brought her Grand Championship home to SanDee's also. Darjeeling won his UKC championship at the ripe old age of almost 7 months. All three dogs are beautiful specimans of the breed and we are very proud of them. Watch for Darjeeling in the show ring this coming year, 2009.

Darjeeling

Tomorrow, we will finally be able to see our new boy, Cartoonland's Darjeeling. He is the son of Cartoonland's Vanupieds and Cartoonland's Africa. We are very excited to have this new boy. Watch for him soon in the showring!

LONE STAR-LOUISIANA TOY FOX TERRIER ASSOCIATION SHOW

July 26th & 27th were great days for SanDee's Cotons. We attended the UKC show sponsored by the Lone Star-LA Toy Fox Terrier Association. It was a cluster of 4 shows. SanDee's Boot Scootin' Boogie won BOB 3 times as well as Group I, Group II, and Group III. SanDee's Cassie won the breed Saturday afternoon and also a Best in Show! She was really strutting her stuff. And then our little Angel Cloud's Buttons & Bows wowed herself into 2 Best in Shows and one Reserve Best in Show in the Novice Puppy Classes.

Successful Weekend at National Specialty Show

At the National Specialty weekend, April 19th & 20th, our kennel had 2 BIS winners. SanDee's Van Gogh, owned & loved by Linda Vance, won a BIS in the 3rd show. SanDee's U Rock Me, aka Rocky, also won BIS in the 5th show. Rocky also won the Dog of Merit in the 2nd show which was the National Specialty judged by fellow breeder, Suzanne Lavigne.
